Mom and Aunt Judy
Mom and Aunt Judy
Patricia died on September 5, 1977 . At that time, her children Patrick and Beth were 10 and 4 years old respectively. After her death, Patrick and Beth went to live with their father. They rarely saw their mother's family. Beth never even knew how much she looked like Patricia. For many years, the only thing Patrick had of Patricia's that was in her handwriting was her lasagna recipe. Beth and Patrick both wanted to do something to honor their mother's life and memory. Because their only connection to Patricia for so long was her lasagna recipe, Beth and Patrick thought it only fitting to use that recipe as the method to raise funds for cancer research.

Mom's Lasagna is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding cancer research, and specifically breast cancer research. Although doctors and researchers have made dramatic leaps in cancer treatment and diagnosis since our mother's death in 1977, we still have many miles to go before we defeat cancer. Without sufficient funding, researchers cannot conduct their critical work. Mom's Lasagna wants to provide that funding so that no mother will ever have to choose between their own life and the life of her baby again.
