The donation, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, is being made to the nonprofit organization which was co-founded by siblings Patrick and Beth Schmidt in honor of their mother. Mom's Lasagna, Inc. is dedicated to funding cancer research, specifically breast cancer research. Patrons who dine during the month of October on Vincenzo's Lasagna Bolognese, a rich meat sauce layered with ricotta, parmesan cheese, and topped with fresh mozzarella olive, will be supporting a cause that will affect approximately 3,220 new patients in Kentucky this year.
